The Tangaré Foundation is an Ecuadorian non-governmental, non-profit organization registered in the Ministry of Environment under the Ministerial Agreement No. 003. Official Register No. 539.
We aim to help promote economically viable alternatives to current practices that are not sustainable. This will be achieved through a combination of research, natural resources management and environmental education.

MISSION
Promote and strengthen an alternative and innovative model of development in Ecuador, with the main emphasis on sustainability and environmental conservation in the Tropical Andes and the Chocó-Darien bio-regions.
VISION
Researchers, volunteers, tourist and educational groups are welcome to join our projects. We are committed to support people and organizations that believe in the value of our country’s biodiversity.
